Visual Anthropology

I started working with film during my undergraduate years, producing small visual art films and after graduation working with non-profits to create community-engaged films.

Starting in early 2023, I began exploring Visual Anthropology as a method. I am interested in representation, specifically how we tell a story beyond the lens of a camera. In Spring 2023, I began working with my community partners at Area Agency on Aging, co-producing a short film titled, Pebble in the Water. The film explores a local nutrition program highlighting social worker and volunteer experiences as they deliver food to homebound older adults each week.

Since then, I continue to experiment with film. Please check back regularly to see what new projects are being posted.
